We really do CREATE MEMORIES

When we hear stories like this one, shared by Carol Lake and Diane Tessier, we know we help make Niagara-on-the-Lake a special destination for visitors. A huge shout out to both of them who, like many Ambassadors, wear many different volunteer hats!

“I wanted to share with you what happened to me and Diane Tessier this morning (December 5). We volunteered at the Brock Street home for the Rotary Club Holiday House Tour. I was at the front door welcoming hundreds of guests into the home. A couple came in and he said that he recognized me from his visit in September with his wife on Queen Street on our NOTL Ambassador walking shift. I believe that they were from Pittsburgh. I was with Diane on that shift and we all really connected in September. When they came in the front door he said that he remembered Carol and Diane. Diane was in the next room and we all hugged. Their friends with them said that they heard all about us. This was so cool. This is why I love being a NOTL Ambassador and living in Niagara on the Lake.”
